HAPPY 234th & 1st BIRTHDAY (P)

Hard to believe, but it was one year ago today that the then Born Again American (now that I have L's help) we've pluralised the American, made it's first post...

It's amazing how the things I was railing about then are still plaguing us today... We've taken one on the chin with healthcare, but we're still fighting Cap-N-Tax... What I find different is the incredible amount of people who are not only waking up, but doing something about it... I for one, through the efforts of modern day heroes like Glenn Beck, have become more educated than I would have ever dreamed... I probably would have laughed out loud had you told me one year ago that I would be hosting a 5000 Year Leap study group in my home... That I would spend my Saturdays sitting along busy roads holding signs trying to bring awareness to others what is happening to and in this great country... The best part is that I have met, either personally, or through the Blogosphere some truly amazing people as well as reconnecting with friends from the past... The last thing I want to do is come across as having a "Holier Than Thou" attitude, but it still irks me to find people who are either completely ignorant or so lazy they wouldn't run if they were on fire... I guess human nature really hasn't changed that much as I find that only about 40% of the population took part in our battle for Independence... (really sad side note, only 82% of people in a recent Fox News poll knew who we declared our Independence from)

In as much as I'm a male, I still need to shave every day (well, weekends don't count) which requires my looking in the mirror... It's difficult enough looking at this mug without adding the shame of knowing I sat by while our country was being destroyed... Call me selfish, but for that reason alone, I'll pledge my life, fortune (not much of a sacrifice there) and sacred honor to restoring and educating this great country of ours...

To all Americans
(except those that would try to destroy us & you know who you are) may I wish you a HAPPY, SAFE & JOYOUS 4TH of JULY / INDEPENDENCE DAY...

  1. Happy Birthday Born Again. Thanks for the great post and working to wake people up. Have a safe and happy 4th.

  2. Great Post Born Again Americans! Happy Birthday and have a wonderful 4th of July. Be safe and God Bless.

  3. Wonderful post.
Happy Birthday to The Born Again American Blog and Happy Independence Day to you, LL and your families.

  4. "except those that would try to destroy us & you know who you are"

    I like that.

  5. Happy birthday to your blog although a day late. Happy birthday to me also, born on July 5 in the year Hitler invaded Poland. I'm like you few in this country know its history. When I used to travel a lot I was shocked that many foreigners knew our history better that many here. Our schools teach little of anything!

  6. HAPPY BIRTHDAY RON, a day late as well...
