I'm not exactly sure how I got on Media Matters email list, but I receive an email a couple times a month and I stand by the adage, "know thy enemy"... Here's a link to these dirt bags latest campaign to "Drop Fox"...

This is the email that I received today and if you went to the website from the link above, you'll see that ORBITZ by their account has had a long standing record with the LGBT community... Could this have anything to do with why when you closely observe the "O" in the ORBITZ logo, it could be construed as representing two of the "G" portion of LGBT engaged in sodomy? Don't complain to me, I didn't design the logo, I just call them how I see them...

Dear Friend,

This week, we got the good news that Orbitz has responded to the concerns of its customers and agreed to uphold its values. Thanks to your efforts, Orbitz has agreed to undergo a review process. They're going to review the examples we gave them of slurs against the LGBT community and environmental misinformation to ensure that how they distribute their ad dollars no longer conflicts with their stated standards of responsibility.

Orbitz is setting an example by doing the right thing here -- and we need to make sure other advertisers get the message.

Tell Fox News advertisers it's time to Drop Fox.

Every day, the advertisers who sponsor Fox News programming give financial support to a divisive and deliberately dishonest political operation. Fox's climate science misinformation, race-baiting, anti-LGBT attacks and smears against the Latino community are irresponsible and unacceptable for any self-described news network. Advertisers need to know that their dollars are supporting Fox News' campaign of deception and we need your help in informing them about the consequences of supporting Fox.

Tell Fox News advertisers it's time to Drop Fox.

Moving forward, we'll be reaching out to other Fox advertisers to let them know why they shouldn't sponsor Fox News. The most important thing they can hear is that there's a strong coalition of organizations and individuals coming together in this essential education effort.

Thanks again for your support -- none of this can happen without your help.

Media Matters for America

Not that I have ever used ORBITZ, but you can bet your sweet ass (no overt sexual connotations intended) I never will...

  1. The reasons given to drop Fox are just liberal "projection", that is, they accuse you of what they are doing.

  2. Media Matters has been on a campaign now for a couple of months of strictly going after Fox News.

They, Media Matters, started as a liberal answer to Brent Bozells' 'Media Research Center' or MRC ( and one not need to guess who fund's it (hint: George Soros).

Write, email or be a consumer with a voice and support Fox advertisers and tell them why!

  3. Nanotweezer is correct. Media Matters is extremely divisive and filled with lies, lies, and damned lies.

I think we need to start picking apart Media Matters false news stories. Or maybe we should target Soros? He should have been deported from the US years ago.

  4. I will not do business with any company that allows themselves to be blackmailed in this way.

  5. Bro,

I think Teresa is on to something! Although I would love to send George Soros out in a box!
