Our constitution was written for the express purpose of protecting us from the abuse of power by the federal government... How in God's name can these idiots in Washington think that they can make it mandatory that anyone or more appropriately, everyone has to purchase health insurance... I have health insurance because I personally choose to have health insurance, not because some blood sucking politician thinks I should be mandated to have it... I used to have employer based health insurance in which my employer graciously contributed the majority of the cost... The slumping economy has made it impossible for them to continue this and keep the company in business, which in turn keeps me employed, which in turn allows me to pay taxes, which in turn keeps the weasels in Washington, whom are doing their best to destroy our country... Seems like a vicious cycle... I will admit that I sometimes bash the lawyers in this country, but I was lucky enough to be watching Fox and Friends (shocking as that might sound) this morning when they interviewed a lawyer that practiced (why do they practice law, I would think a better term could be used) constitutional law... It is totally unconstitutional for the federal government to mandate and subsequently fine someone should they choose not to purchase health insurance... This argument will be taken to court and ultimately to the supreme court where it must be overturned...

Today is October 25th and I would like to take this opportunity to wish my twin brother a happy 59th birthday, but more importantly, it is the day that the second Tea Party Express leaves San Diego, ultimately arriving in Orlando on November 11th... America, it is time for us to stand up and reclaim this great country of ours... The far left and their socialist, communist, Marxist agenda must be thwarted... (my fifty cent word for the day) Stand tall America our country, our children and grandchildren are counting on you...

  1. I couldn't have put it better myself. Though apparently, our Steny Hoyer seems to think that the General Welfare Clause of the Constitution gives them the right to mandate healthcare for all.

  2. Happy Birthday to you and your twin!

  3. Back at ya Bro!

Terry Lee and I had a good day and a nice B-Day dinner.

  4. Apparently, the Congressional CARPETBAGGERS are thinking: Constitution? We don't need no stinkin' Constitution.

  5. Hi Bill,
Glad to see you're still checking out the blog...
