This makes me ponder the question, exactly who is more stupid, Dick Durban, or the people of Illinois who keep re-electing this idiot? The "Dream Act" is not a dream, but a freaking nightmare for all Americans, especially those that immigrated to this country legally... This is nothing more than the first step toward blanket amnesty for undocumented Democrats... Listen while this putz proves exactly how ignorant of the Constitution he truly is...

After using illegal immigrants as props to push the DREAM Act, Sen. Durbin (D-IL) made the following statement at a Senate committee hearing:

"When I look around this room, I see America's future. Our doctors, our teachers, our nurses, our engineers, our scientists, our soldiers, our Congressman, our Senators and maybe our President."

However, Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution says: "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."



OK, I stand corrected, one of those people standing could be president if they were approximately 224 years old...

CURTAIN NEEDS TO CLOSE ON "DAVIS BACON ACT" (P)

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?
California and specifically San Francisco are doing something fiscally responsible... The new San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge is being made in China...

Every time I think it's safe to watch Fox & Friends and drink my coffee at the same time, I see something like this, which usually ends up with me having to clean up a mess... It appears as in this time of 9.1% unemployment here, it is a half a billion (the last time I checked, that's 500 million) dollars cheaper to have the bridge built in China and shipped here for assembly... Why you might ask? It all boils down to the Davis Bacon Act, which is explained here... 

This is simply one more reason government is the problem, not the solution... I will not apologise in advance of this next statement... Unions are destroying America... They had a purpose once upon a time, but that time has come and gone... I live in Florida which is a right to work state and the sooner all 57 (according to Obama) states follow suite, the better...

The tag line for this post comes from the comedic genius of Brian Regan... I searched for a video, but wasn't successful... The premise for the bit was that when you are drunk everything seems to be funny, so he suggested putting a note pad on the booze bottles so you could wake up the next day and remember just what was soooooo funny... Hence the title "Hamster Nipples"...







Well ladies and gentlemen, it is spring time in S.W. Florida and that brings sunshine and my ability to charge my batteries, as I was solar powered when Van Jones was a mere gleam in his daddy's eye... I purchased this lot that I built this house upon for its' southern exposure, so I might be able to sit in the sun applying dark tanning oil (sun screen is for wimps, you can say I told you so when and only when I die of skin cancer) and soaking up rays... The problem that comes from this is thirst, to which I find Heineken to be the perfect solution... (are you starting to see where I'm coming from?) The more I sun, the thirstier I get, the more I indulge... That is the reason I put a pad on the lanai so every time I came in to get a beer , or make a rental payment (you don't buy beer, you rent it) I could jot down my thoughts so "Hamster Nipples" here I come...

• Does anyone in their "RIGHT" mind think that Charlie Crist is a "Conservative"? (Update, Charlie Crist is now chasing ambulances @ Morgan & Morgan and we all know where Marco Rubio is)


• With ears the size of Obama's, wouldn't you think he could hear us?


• If God wasn't a Florida Gator, why did he make the sky "Blue" and the sun "Orange"? (Update, the Gators take on the Game Cocks in the CWS, game 1 Monday 8:00 pm eastern... My prediction, an SEC team will be the NCAA champion...)


OK, I had fun with that... Although I did catch some beautiful sunshine and drank a few beers yesterday, I didn't use the pad because I was intoxicated, I used the pad because I'm getting older and I have that dreaded disease CRS... Can't Remember Stuff!!!
