STOP THE MADNESS!!!

America needs to go to rehab and get clean and sober... We don't have a revenue problem, we have a spending problem... We as a nation bring in enough money to service the debt and run our government... It's not going to be easy or pleasant, but quiting "Cold Turkey" never is... We need an intervention in which those of us who actually live within our means tell Washington that it's time they did the same...

TEA ANYONE? (P)

The Lee County Patriots in conjunction with the Cape Coral 9/12 and the Naples Tea Party hosted a TEA Party in beautiful downtown Ft. Myers (sorry, was born and raised here, a little prejudice) at Centennial Park... I'm not going to try and say there were thousands of people there, but several hundred braved what turned out to be brutally hot conditions even for April in South West Florida...

It was a very inspiring event happening only hours after what some are saying was a failure by our Republican / Conservative elected representatives in the "Budget Battle" with the morons on the left... Why do we continue to deny the fact that deep down inside, all we really want to do is kill women and starve senior citizens... One of the first steps we must take is to admit we have a problem... Hi my name is (P) and I'm a woman killing, senior citizen starving Conservative...  There, I said it, now with help from Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer I can someday say "I'm a recovering Conservative"... Everyone knows that you are never completely liberal, it's one day at a time... (I have no idea where that came from, but I had fun with it)

Back on track... The speakers were as interesting as they were inspiring... It never fails to fill me with hope every time I attend something like this and see that I'm not alone... That there are Americans that still believe in the principles that this great nation was founded upon... We are and will forever be the greatest nation on the face of the earth and that the "American Experiment" is alive and well... We as a nation fell asleep, but by the grace of God, we woke up in the nick of time... The Founding Fathers gave us the perfect (well as perfect as humanly possible) system by which we can govern ourselves... We need to adhere to it and never forget that it's "We the People", not the government that is in charge... They work for us and must never be allowed to think otherwise... We are endowed by our Creator (something Obama has trouble saying) with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness... We don't need anyone "spreading the wealth around" the playing field is fine the way it is, no leveling needed... Just do what is outlined in the Constitution and let the American people do what we do best... We became the greatest nation on earth because we have the freedom to do and prosper as individuals, no collective salvation, no executive orders, no mandates needed...

I must admit the absolute highlight of my day was when I was approached by a young lady who leaned over and asked are you The Born Again American? I knew immediately that she must be "The Conservative Lady" http://tclblogger.blogspot.com/ author of this incredible blog... We knew that we both lived here in South West Florida, but had never met in person... You need only to visit her blog to understand what a service she provides to our country and our cause... The really great part is that she and her husband to whom we will refer to as TCG (The Conservative Gentleman) are as pleasant and engaging as any two people you could ever hope to meet... Like many, they are part time residents here and soon will be heading north, but I am looking forward to more encounters with them when they return next fall...

DON'T MAKE ME RUN FOR PRESIDENT! (P)

Who hasn't heard this from a parent at some point in time?

Well I'm starting to feel the same way as to we, "THE CONSERVATIVE RIGHT", coming up with a clear cut winner to oust "Numb Nuts" in 2012... So again I implore  you "don't make me run for president"...




I'm not sold on anyone at this point... I do however have reservations about some so called contenders... I do not like Mitt Romney, two words Romney Care...  Michelle Bachmann has some really good ideas, but I don't think she has a chance... (before you take my head off, let me explain... (T) and I host in our home what started out as a  "book club" that has now been more aptly referred to as a "support group" in which I'm the only male with six females "what can I say, I'm a chick magnet"... These are very conservative women and it is their consensus that it would be next to impossible for any woman to win)... I love about 95% of Ron Paul right up until he starts spouting about withdrawing our entire military from around the world... That is just not plausible at this time... Certainly something we can and should strive for in the future... I'm not wild about any of these guys, Tim Pawlenty, Mitch Daniels, Herman Cain or Haley Barbour... I like Newt Gingrich, he certainly is worldly and wise, but does he carry too much baggage? I would truly love to see any of the following Rand Paul, Marco Rubio or Lt. Col. Allen West, except look what happened the last time we elected a first term senator... (I know West is a congressman) 

So don't make me start an exploratory committee and run for president, as I really don't want to... Should this be necessary, let me assure you of a couple of things...

1. I have a birth certificate and only one social security number...
2. You can find plenty of people that I went to school with...
3. I don't play golf...
4. I'm a child of the sixties and I did inhale... As (L) likes to say, I remember the Mustang coming out in 1964 and everything is a little hazy after that...
5. There's no way in hell I'm going to wear long pants or a tie... (although I could teach Obummer how to tie a Double Windsor, instead of that lop sided excuse he wears)
6. I would get us out of the United Nations and get that money pit of a bad idea off our soil... Citizen of the world my ass, I'm an American citizen and damn proud of it...
7. I'd get rid of Obummer Care...
8. I'd cut spending and require a balanced budget...
9. I'd stop government waste...
10. I'd get rid of the EPA and DOE...
11. I'd abolish the IRS and institute a "Fair Tax"...
12. I'd uphold the Constitution...
13. I'd shrink the federal government and return the power to the states...
14. I'd repeal the 17th amendment, giving the state assemblies the power to elect the senators...
15. Come to think of it, I'd make a damn good president...

Dear "DUMBO",

The world is burning and you are off to Rio!

I just have one thing to ask of you, how about staying home and doing the PHUCKING job the imbeciles of this country elected you to do! Thank God you have less than two years left to bring disgrace and economic chaos to this Great Nation!

This does not mean keeping your mouth shut while the Arab world turns into a blood bath!

This does not mean filling out your NCAA brackets!

This does not mean letting the French of all nations lead the way for a "No-fly Zone" over Libya!

This means giving the country and people of Japan our undivided attention and support until their crisis has been brought to a manageable situation!

This means stay at home and lead your country! Oh, I forgot, this is something you know nothing about!
