Our tax money pays their wages while they vote for the people that keep the "goodies" coming. There should be NO public employee unions.

Another thing: Libs always complain about "big business" shipping jobs over seas. The reason the corporations and business's do that is because our liberal government taxes the S@*& out of them. We have one of the highest corporate tax rates in the world.Goltznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4627696040612428264.post-50710550008810734832010-11-13T19:38:13.493-05:002010-11-13T19:38:13.493-05:00Great post. That was in the bag, a done deal, but BO just can't understand how anything works. Anything. Personally, I'm hoping that he just breaks down and gets sent off to some padded room somewhere. Biden's no prize, but he's about a zillion times better than BO (and would at least ditch the commie crew in the WH).

Can't wait to read your Fair Tax post; I keep meaning to look into that more deeply, but just haven't got around to it yet. I am in favor of a flat tax, though. Anything but this travesty that we have now.Fuzzy Slippershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13021615731454709413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4627696040612428264.post-87753149324712472122010-11-13T17:52:13.624-05:002010-11-13T17:52:13.624-05:00Great post BA. If they are then they should be disbanded.John Careyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15257123210232602333noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4627696040612428264.post-46616652194624376932010-11-13T13:27:03.832-05:002010-11-13T13:27:03.832-05:00Well I certainly agree but to your point on taxati...Well I certainly agree but to your point on taxation I have a way to promote that idea;

If one does not pay either income or property taxes then they cannot vote until such time they do pay taxes. How can one vote if they have no skin in the game? That in of itself is un-American.

On top of that and in addition to the above I heard an excellent idea from I believe Walter Williams which is basically this ;

For every $20K earned an individual gets one vote i.e., earn $40K = 2 votes, $60K = 3 votes and so-on.

Neither "disfranchises" anyone while at the same time incentives everyone no matter what political ideology they may hold.Christopher - Conservative Perspectivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14102651466203156040noreply@blogger.com
